Description

The PRO-S is a pole-mounted LED street light built for roads, car parks and amenity areas. It draws 105W and delivers 16020 lumens at a neutral 4000K white, with an efficiency of 153 lm/W that keeps running costs in check. The wide X150/Y125 degree asymmetric beam spreads light forward and across the carriageway rather than straight down, which is what marks this out as a true street light or, in North American terms, a shoebox area light. It mounts to the top of a street pole or column via its spigot, never to a wall.

The asymmetric optic is designed for even coverage along a road or between parking bays, so light is thrown out across the surface with fewer dark gaps between columns. That makes the PRO-S a good fit for residential streets, access roads, retail and commercial car parks, and similar outdoor zones where consistent levels matter for safety. Spacing depends on pole height and the spread of the beam, but the forward throw lets columns sit further apart than a downward-only fitting would allow. As a road and area luminaire its coverage is best judged by throw and uniformity rather than a fixed floor area.

The body is aluminium alloy in a grey finish, rated IP66 against dust and powerful water jets so it copes with fully exposed, wet outdoor sites, with an IK08 rating for impact resistance. It runs on 220-240V AC and is not dimmable. The integrated LED is rated for 100,000 hours, reducing maintenance visits across a lit estate. It measures 605 by 265 by 108 mm and weighs 4.17 kg. This fitting sits within the wider PRO-S range of street and car park luminaires.

Frequently Asked

How is the PRO-S mounted?

It is a pole or column mounted street luminaire, fitting onto the top of a street pole or post via its spigot. It is not a wall fitting and should not be fixed to the side of a building. This makes it suited to roadside columns and car park poles.

Is it suitable for fully exposed outdoor use?

Yes. The PRO-S carries an IP66 rating, which means it is protected against dust and powerful water jets, so it is fine for fully exposed and wet outdoor locations. The IK08 rating adds resistance to knocks and impacts.

How bright is it and what does it replace?

It produces 16020 lumens from 105W at 4000K neutral white. At that output it serves as an efficient LED replacement for older SON or metal-halide street lanterns of much higher wattage, while using far less energy at 153 lm/W.

How should the columns be spaced for even coverage?

The wide X150 by Y125 degree asymmetric beam throws light forward and across the surface, giving even coverage along a road or between car park bays. Spacing depends on pole height, but the forward throw lets columns sit further apart than a purely downward fitting.
