How is this street light mounted?

It is designed for pole, column or post-top mounting via a spigot, fixed at the head of a street column or car-park pole. It is not a wall fitting and should not be fixed to a building. This lets units be spaced along a road or around a parking area for even coverage.

Is it suitable for fully exposed outdoor locations?

Yes. With an IP66 rating it is weatherproof and rated for exposed outdoor and wet locations, including driving rain. An IK08 impact rating adds resilience for public roadside and car-park use.

How much area does one fitting cover?

At 7790 lumens with a wide X150/Y125° beam, the throw is spread forward along a road or across a parking area rather than concentrated under the pole. Actual coverage depends on mounting height and the spacing between poles, so units are normally laid out to overlap and avoid dark gaps between heads.

How should the luminaire be cleaned?

Wipe the lens and aluminium body with a soft damp cloth once the fitting is isolated and cool. Clearing road grime and dust from the optic keeps the 7790 lumen output and beam spread effective. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could mark the grey finish.
