Description
The PRO-S is a pole-mounted LED street light delivering 7750 lumens from a 50W draw, an efficiency of 155 lm/W that keeps running costs down across long hours of operation. It throws a neutral 4000K white light through a wide asymmetric beam of 150 degrees by 125 degrees, spreading light forward along a carriageway rather than wasting it straight down. Across the Atlantic this format is the area light or shoebox light familiar in US parking lots, and the asymmetric optic does the same job here: even brightness between columns with controlled spill at the edges of the lit zone.
Designed for column and pole-top installation, the PRO-S suits residential streets, access roads, car parks, depots and yards where consistent overhead coverage matters. The wide forward beam lets you space columns further apart while keeping dark patches between them to a minimum, so it works well laid out along a road run or across a parking area on a regular grid. At 7750 lumens it covers the kind of throw expected of a mid-power amenity luminaire, lighting a generous span of road or hardstanding from a single column. Mounting height and column spacing should be set to the lit area, with taller columns widening the coverage each fitting provides.
The body is aluminium alloy in a grey finish, rated IP66 against dust and powerful water jets so it copes with fully exposed positions and driving rain, and IK08 for impact resistance in public settings. It runs direct from 220 to 240V AC mains and is not dimmable, with a rated lifespan of 100,000 hours that limits maintenance visits to high columns. The fitting measures 535 by 210 by 108 mm and weighs 3.08 kg. The wider Pro-S range covers further wattages and sizes for matching a scheme across different road and car-park duties.

Frequently Asked
How is the PRO-S mounted?
It is designed for pole-top or column mounting via a spigot, so it sits at the head of a street or car-park column rather than being fixed to a building. Set the mounting height and column spacing to suit the area you are lighting, as taller columns widen the coverage each fitting gives.
Is it suitable for fully exposed outdoor use?
Yes. The PRO-S carries an IP66 rating, meaning it is sealed against dust and powerful water jets, so it handles open positions, driving rain and wet weather. The IK08 rating also gives it impact resistance for public locations.
How much area does it cover and how far apart can columns be spaced?
At 7750 lumens with a wide 150 by 125 degree asymmetric beam, it spreads light forward along a road or across hardstanding rather than only straight down, which lets columns be set further apart with even brightness between them. The exact spacing depends on column height and the lux level you need, so plan the layout around the lit zone.
What did it replace and how energy efficient is it?
The PRO-S runs at 50W for 7750 lumens, an efficiency of 155 lm/W, replacing older SON sodium or metal-halide street and car-park fittings at a fraction of the power. Its 100,000 hour rated lifespan also cuts the frequency of maintenance visits to high columns.
