PRO-S 540x210 20W LED Street Light IP66 - Grey

The PRO-S is a pole-mounted LED street light that draws just 20W while putting out 3270 lumens, working out to a high 164 lm/W efficiency. Light arrives at a neutral 4000K, the clear white tone used for roadways and amenity areas, and the asymmetric 150° × 125° beam spreads it forward and out along the carriageway rather than straight down. In US terms this is the type of area light or shoebox luminaire seen on parking lot poles, mounted on a column or spigot above the space it serves.

Sitting on a street pole or lighting column, it suits access roads, residential streets, car parks, yards and depot perimeters where even forward throw matters more than a tight pool of light. The wide asymmetric optic lets the beam reach between poles, so output is cast along the route and across the bays instead of concentrated under the fitting. Because it is column or post mounted, spacing and pole height set the overlap between units, with the 3270 lumen output and wide beam giving useful coverage across a typical residential or car-park run.

The body is aluminium alloy in a grey finish, rated IP66 for fully exposed outdoor and wet locations and IK08 for impact, so it stands up to weather and knocks on a pole top. It measures 535 × 210 × 108 mm and weighs 3.08 kg, keeping load on the spigot modest. How is this street light mounted?

It is designed for pole, column or post mounting via a spigot, not for fixing to a wall or building. It sits on top of a street lighting column or car-park pole so the beam is cast down and outward across the area below.

Is it suitable for fully exposed outdoor use?

Yes. The PRO-S carries an IP66 rating, so it is weatherproof against heavy rain and dust in fully exposed positions. The IK08 rating adds impact resistance for pole-top installation.

How should the poles be spaced for even coverage?

The asymmetric 150° × 125° beam throws light forward along a road or across car-park bays rather than in a tight circle. Spacing depends on pole height and the lux level you need, but the wide optic is built to overlap evenly between adjacent columns.
