Description

The PREDA LED is a task desk lamp built for focused work at a desk or bench. It runs at a maximum of 7.3W, drawing on 220 to 240V AC mains, and gives up to 620 lm of directional light across the surface in front of you. The arm and head adjust so the light can be aimed exactly where the work sits, while the colour temperature is selectable between 3000K, 5000K and 6500K, moving from warm white through to a crisp daylight tone. With an efficiency of up to 85 lm/W, it puts useful brightness onto the page or keyboard without flooding the wider room.

Sitting on its own weighted base, the PREDA is suited to a home office, study, workshop bench or a desk in a shared workspace. It is a task light rather than a general room light, so it lights the area immediately beneath the head rather than the whole space. The warm 3000K setting works well for relaxed reading, while the 5000K and 6500K settings give a cooler, clearer light better for detailed close work, drawing or screen-side tasks. Position the head over the work area and angle it to keep glare off the screen.

The body is plastic in a white finish and weighs 1.01 kg, giving a stable footprint on the desk. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is for dry indoor use only and should be kept clear of bathrooms and outdoor spots. The integrated LED is rated for around 25,000 hours and the lamp is not dimmable, with the three selectable white tones providing the light adjustment instead. Colour rendering is Ra 80. The PREDA stands on its own weighted base rather than clamping to the desk edge. The 1.01 kg body keeps it stable, and the adjustable arm and head let you angle the light over the work area. Just set it down where you need it.

Can I change the colour of the light?

Yes. The lamp offers three selectable white tones: 3000K warm white, 5000K and 6500K daylight. Use the warmer setting for relaxed reading and the cooler settings for detailed close work or screen-side tasks.
