Description
The Polycromy Colour Surge is a 130x100cm motion photography print mounted on 4mm tempered glass, depicting an abstract profile formed from layered brushstrokes in red, orange, pink, blue, yellow and green against a black ground. The image is printed directly onto the glass surface using UV-cured inks, giving the colours depth and saturation that differs from paper or canvas prints.
Designed for living rooms, hallways and creative workspaces where large-scale wall art anchors a room, the print works in both neutral interiors (where the colour palette provides the accent) and bolder schemes where it complements existing colour blocking. At 130cm wide the print fills a substantial wall area without needing to be paired with other pieces. The tempered glass construction gives a 13kg weight, so the included wall fixings must be anchored into solid wall construction or studs rather than plasterboard alone.
The motion blur effect in the image comes from composite photography techniques that layer multiple exposures of paint or pigment in motion, creating the flowing forms and directional streaks visible in the final print. The black background isolates the colour forms and gives the print graphic contrast when mounted on lighter-toned walls. The 0.4cm glass thickness provides rigidity without needing a separate frame, and the polished edges allow the print to be mounted flush to the wall with minimal projection.

Assembly Instruction
Frequently Asked
What type of wall fixings are included?
The print includes wall fixings designed for mounting the 13kg tempered glass panel. These must be anchored into solid masonry, brick or wall studs rather than plasterboard alone. The assembly instruction PDF in the Downloads tab provides the specific fixing detail.
Can the print be hung in a bathroom or humid environment?
The tempered glass and UV-cured inks are moisture-resistant, but the print is designed for dry interior wall mounting. Avoid hanging in spaces with persistent high humidity or direct water exposure, as condensation on the glass may affect the wall fixings over time.
Does the print need a frame?
No. The 4mm tempered glass has polished edges and mounts directly to the wall using the included fixings, giving a frameless, flush-to-wall appearance.
How is the glass cleaned?
Wipe the front surface with a soft, lint-free cloth and standard glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which may scratch the UV-cured ink layer or the glass surface.
