The Palladium is a 100cm round coffee table built around a working clock face set beneath a glass top, with visible moving cogs in gold finish rotating as the clock runs. The table combines a functional timepiece with a furniture structure, supported on a black metal X-frame base with decorative finial posts at each corner.

Designed for living rooms and lounge areas where the table sits within view from seating, the clock mechanism requires three AA batteries (sold separately) and the cogs rotate continuously while the clock is running. The glass top sits 51.5cm from floor level, placing it at standard coffee table height for use with sofas and low armchairs. The 100cm diameter gives sufficient surface area for drinks, books and decorative objects while the clock face itself occupies the central portion of the glass.

The black metal frame uses an X-braced structure beneath the circular rim, giving the table stability without adding visual bulk. Four turned finial posts rise at 90-degree intervals around the rim, echoing classical clock design. The gold-finish cogs contrast against the black frame and the frosted clock face behind the glass, making the mechanism visible from above. At 18.7kg the table sits firmly on carpet or hard floors without requiring additional anchoring.

What weight can the glass top support?

The glass is designed to support typical coffee table loads such as books, magazines, cups and decorative objects. Avoid placing extremely heavy single-point loads directly over the clock mechanism or sitting on the table.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The Palladium is for indoor use only. The clock mechanism is not weatherproofed and exposure to moisture, rain or high humidity will damage the movement and the metal frame finish.
