Nur XL LED Rectangular Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 50W 3000K - Chrome

The Nur XL is a rectangular semi-flush LED ceiling light built around a flowing chrome aluminium frame with integrated frosted polycarbonate diffusers. Two elongated loops of polished chrome curve out from a central ceiling mount, each containing an LED strip behind frosted white polycarbonate that diffuses the light into an ambient wash. The integrated 50W LED produces 3900 lumens at 3000K warm white across a 120° beam angle.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the Nur XL provides ambient lighting without projecting far into the room. The 800mm drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the frame makes it suitable for rooms where a pendant would hang too low, while the 1200mm width gives presence over a dining table, kitchen island or in an open-plan living area. The semi-flush mount fits standard UK ceiling roses and the frame conceals the cable run.

The chrome finish on the aluminium frame gives a reflective quality that catches daylight and artificial light from other sources, creating visual movement as you pass through the room. The frosted polycarbonate diffusers hide the LED strip from view and soften the light output, preventing glare when looking up at the fitting. The curves create a sculptural profile even when unlit, adding architectural detail to plain white ceilings. At 1.95kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard ceilings with standard fixings.

Is the Nur XL dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at fixed brightness and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 800mm drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the frame suits rooms with standard 2.4m or higher ceiling heights. In rooms below 2.4m the fitting may feel visually heavy, though it remains functional.

What size room does it suit?

The 1200mm width and 3900 lumen output work well in rooms of 12-20m². For smaller rooms (under 12m²) the fitting may dominate visually; for larger rooms (over 20m²) consider pairing with additional lighting.

Can the chrome be cleaned?

Wipe the chrome frame with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints, use a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid sprays and chemical cleaners that can damage the polished finish.
