Nur II LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 50W 3000K - Chrome

The Nur II is a 550mm diameter LED semi-flush ceiling light built around two continuous loops of opal white acrylic that curve outward from a polished chrome ceiling plate. Each acrylic arm houses integrated LEDs along its full length, turning the loops themselves into the light source rather than directing light from discrete bulb points. The combined 50W LED output delivers 3750 lumens at 3000K warm white.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways with standard ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Nur II provides ambient rather than task lighting. The sculptural form casts soft shadows and light gradients across walls and ceilings as the looping acrylic diffuses the LED glow in all directions. The 645mm drop from ceiling to lowest point of the fixture suits rooms where a full pendant would hang too low but a flush mount would lose visual presence.

The opal acrylic softens the LED output to avoid glare while maintaining brightness sufficient for general room lighting without additional sources. The polished chrome base reflects light back into the room and pairs with chrome door furniture, cabinet handles and tap fittings in coordinated interiors. The Nur II is not dimmable. Is the Nur II dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is rated at 50W on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light output is fixed at 3750 lumens.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

No. The LEDs are sealed within the acrylic loops and cannot be accessed or replaced. The fixture's lifespan is tied to the LED module, which typically provides 20,000-30,000 hours of operation before significant degradation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 645mm drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the looping arms suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the fixture may feel visually heavy or obstruct sightlines.

How is the acrylic cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth when the light is switched off and cool. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the acrylic and do not use household sprays, polishes or abrasive cleaners that can scratch or cloud the surface.
