Description

The Nur II is a 1.75m sculptural LED floor lamp built around a curved ribbon of polished chrome-finished aluminium that wraps a frosted white acrylic tube. The integrated 20W LED runs the full length of the tube, emitting 1500 lumens of 3000K warm white light through the frosted acrylic in a 120° beam angle. The chrome ribbon forms a flowing S-curve from the circular base to the top of the lamp, holding the LED tube in a continuous arc.

Designed as ambient lighting for living rooms, reading corners and open-plan spaces, the Nur II provides diffused background light rather than directional task light. The inline floor dimmer on the cable allows brightness adjustment from full 1500lm output down to low ambient levels without needing a wall dimmer switch. The 480mm diameter circular base gives stability on carpets and hard floors, with the 2.7kg weight distributed across the chrome ribbon structure.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient room light and adds a metallic accent against neutral walls or alongside grey, white and wood-toned furniture. The frosted acrylic diffuses the LED evenly along the tube length, avoiding visible hotspots or banding when lit. The ribbon form creates visual movement in profile while maintaining a slim 480mm footprint when viewed head-on, so it reads as sculptural without dominating floor space in smaller rooms.
