Description

The Mono is a compact spherical LED pendant light measuring 24cm in diameter and 21cm in height, finished in a matt grey metallic powder coat. The flat underside houses a recessed polycarbonate diffuser, and an integrated 16W 3000K LED is built into the head. The fitting suspends from a single black flex cable up to 150cm long, with a small dome-shaped cable gland in matching matt grey at the top.

The closed metal body directs all light downwards through the diffuser, making this a focused task pendant rather than an ambient light source. It works well at 600-800mm above a kitchen island, breakfast bar or workbench, and can be hung in pairs or groups of three over longer counters and dining tables. The 150cm cable allows installation in rooms with ceiling heights from around 2.4m up to 3m without modification.

The body is metal with a polycarbonate diffuser lens, weighing 3.2kg in total, so a secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable anchor is needed. The matt grey finish reads as a soft warm silver in daylight and pairs cleanly with stainless steel, concrete worktops, oak cabinetry and white-painted plasterwork. The 3000K colour temperature delivers warm white light, sitting between the cooler tone of office lighting and the amber of filament bulbs.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The Mono uses an integrated 16W 3000K LED module built into the pendant head, so no separate bulb is needed. The LED is not user-replaceable in the same way as a standard screw-fit bulb.

Is the Mono pendant dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on 220-240V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model in use, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

How high should it be hung?

The 150cm cable can be shortened on installation. Over a kitchen island or breakfast bar, the underside of the pendant typically sits 600-800mm above the worktop. Over a dining table, 700-900mm above the table surface is a common starting point.

Can multiple pendants be hung together?

Yes. The compact 24cm diameter and slim black cable make the Mono well suited to grouping in pairs or rows of three over longer counters, kitchen islands and bar tables. Each pendant is supplied with its own ceiling rose and is wired individually.
