Description
This LED rope light is a round, flexible encased tube delivering a continuous green glow along its full 50m length. Known in the US as led rope light, it draws 100W in total and produces 1450 lm, running on a 210V DC supply through its connection kit rather than direct from a wall socket. The slim 13mm diameter tube bends easily around curves and corners, giving an even line of colour with no visible gaps between the diodes.
The rope suits decorative and architectural runs where a defined line of light is wanted: outlining eaves, rooflines, balconies, fencing, steps and garden features, or marking pathways and event spaces. Because it is a coloured decorative fitting rather than ambient room lighting, its coverage is best judged by the length of edge or outline it traces rather than by floor area. The 50m run gives plenty of reach to outline a building façade or wind through a garden border, and the green tone works well for seasonal displays and signage-style accents.
Built into a weatherproof IP65 polycarbonate sleeve, the tube stands up to exposed outdoor and wet locations such as open patios, eaves and fencing. It is fed via its controller and connection kit rather than cut like a bare strip, so the run is fixed at 50m and set up through the supplied connection arrangement on the 210V DC feed. Rated for around 15,000 hours, the rope weighs 7.50 kg across its length. The range also includes other lengths and colours for matching outdoor and decorative schemes.

Frequently Asked
Can this rope light be used outdoors?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so it is built for exposed outdoor and wet locations including open eaves, fencing and patios. The encased polycarbonate tube keeps moisture out, making it suitable for permanent exterior runs as well as seasonal displays.
Does it need a separate driver or connection kit?
Yes. This is a 210V DC rope light, so it runs through its controller and connection kit rather than plugging straight into a mains wall socket. The kit feeds the tube and sets up the run; it is not powered direct from the mains like a standard lamp.
Can the rope light be cut to a shorter length?
Unlike a bare LED strip, this rope is supplied as a fixed 50m encased run fed from one end, so it is not designed to be cut at intervals along its length. Plan the route around the full reach and use the connection arrangement provided to set it up.
How do I clean and maintain the rope light?
Wipe the outer tube with a soft, damp cloth to clear dust, leaves and grime, then dry it before switching back on. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the polycarbonate sleeve. With an expected life of around 15,000 hours, occasional cleaning is usually all that is needed.
