Description
This LED rope light is a round, flexible encased tube that runs a continuous 50m length and draws 100W in total, giving 6000 lm of crisp daylight white at 6500K. Across the US market this kind of fitting is sold as led rope light or rope light, and the principle is the same: a sealed, bendable line of light fed from one end rather than a flat bare tape. The tube measures just 13 mm in diameter, so it follows curves and corners cleanly, and the diodes sit behind a diffused jacket for an even glow with no harsh dots along the run.
Rated IP65, it handles exposed outdoor and wet positions, which makes it well suited to outlining eaves, fascias, balconies, pergolas, fencing and pathways, as well as railings and steps where a continuous edge of light is wanted. Because this is decorative outline lighting rather than ambient room lighting, think of it in terms of run length and the line it traces rather than a floor coverage figure: 50m is enough to wrap a sizeable patio perimeter or pick out the roofline of a small building. The daylight tone keeps signage, displays and architectural edges looking bright and clean rather than yellow.
The tube is sealed for weatherproofing along its full length and carries a CRI of Ra 80, with a rated life of 15,000 hours. It runs on 210V DC and is fed through its controller and connection kit at one end rather than being cut like a bare 12V or 24V strip, so plan the layout to suit the fixed 50m length. The whole reel weighs 7.50 kg. This rope light sits within our wider LED Strip Lights range alongside COB and SMD tape options for indoor cove and under-cabinet runs.

Frequently Asked
Can this rope light be used outdoors?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so it is weatherproof and suitable for exposed outdoor and wet positions such as eaves, fascias, fencing and pathways. The tube is sealed along its full 50m length to keep moisture out.
Does it need a separate driver or controller?
Yes. This rope light is fed through its controller and connection kit at one end rather than being wired straight into a wall socket. It runs on 210V DC, so the matching feed and end caps must be in place before the run is energised.
Can the rope be cut to a shorter length?
Unlike a bare strip with marked cut points, this is supplied as a fixed 50m encased tube fed from one end. Plan your layout around the full 50m run and route the excess around corners or back on itself rather than cutting it freely.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the tube down with a soft, damp cloth once the supply is switched off, removing dust, leaves and grime that can dull the output. Avoid abrasive pads or solvents that could mark the diffused jacket, and let it dry before switching back on.
