Description
This LED rope light is a round, flexible encased tube that carries a continuous line of diodes along a full 30m run, giving a steady blue glow for outlines and decorative runs. Where a bare led strip is cut to length and sits flat, this rope light is a sealed tube fed through its own connection kit, so the light wraps cleanly around edges and curves. It draws 60W in total across the length and produces a soft accent output rather than a bright task beam, with the colour fixed to blue. The 13mm diameter keeps it slim enough to follow eaves, railings and frames without bulk.
Outdoors it suits roof lines, eaves, fascia boards, balcony rails, pergolas and garden borders, and it works equally well around signage or feature edges where a defined line of colour is wanted. The output here is decorative rather than ambient, so think of it as marking and tracing an edge across the 30m length rather than lighting a room to a set brightness. Run it along a single long boundary or split it into shorter sections to pick out several features, allowing for the controller and connection arrangement at the supply end. The continuous tube gives an even line with no obvious dark gaps between diodes.
Construction is a flexible sealed tube rated IP65, so it copes with exposed outdoor positions, rain and wet locations as well as sheltered runs. It operates at 210V DC and is fed through its supplied controller and connection kit rather than being cut at marked points like an open strip, so the run is fixed at its 30m length. Rated for around 15,000 hours and weighing 4.46kg over the full reel, it fixes in place with clips along its path. We also stock matching connection accessories across the rope light range.

Frequently Asked
Can this rope light be used outdoors in the rain?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so the sealed tube is weatherproof and suitable for exposed outdoor positions, rain and wet locations. It is well suited to eaves, fascia boards, railings and garden borders.
Can I cut this rope light to length?
No, this is a sealed 30m rope light fed through its own controller and connection kit, rather than an open strip that cuts at marked points. The run is fixed at 30m, so plan the layout around the full length or split it using the connection accessories. This keeps the tube watertight along its whole run.
How is the rope light powered?
It runs at 210V DC and is fed through its supplied controller and connection arrangement at the supply end, not direct from a plain wall socket. Allow space for that connection point when planning where the run starts. The whole 30m length draws 60W in total.
How do I clean and maintain the rope light?
Wipe the tube down with a soft, damp cloth once it is switched off and cool, then dry it before powering back on. Avoid harsh solvents that could mark the casing, and check the clips and connection point occasionally on exposed outdoor runs. The sealed IP65 tube needs no internal access.
