Description
The LED Neon Flex is a solid, diffused flexible profile that gives an even neon-effect line of blue light, drawing 12W per metre at 40 lumens per metre. It runs from a 24V DC supply rather than straight from the mains, so it pairs with a matching low-voltage driver. What US buyers would recognise as neon flex or light strip, this is a continuous flexible run rather than a tube of spaced diodes, cuttable to length every 5cm at the marked points so it can be sized to the job. The blue tone and bendable form let it follow curves and corners cleanly.
Its strength is outline and accent work rather than ambient lighting, so coverage is best judged by the line it draws rather than a floor area. It suits signage, lettering and logo outlines, cove and recess detailing, and façade or building-edge runs where a clean strip of colour is wanted after dark. The flexible profile bends around shopfronts, stair noses, bar fronts and architectural curves, and the diffused face hides the individual diodes for a smooth lit appearance along the whole length. Plan the run length against your driver capacity and join sections at the 5cm cut points.
Built to IP65, it is weatherproof and rated for exposed outdoor and wet locations as well as damp interiors. The 5000mm reel runs on 24V DC, so a separately specified driver sized to the total load is required, and the strip cuts only at the marked 5cm intervals. Rated for around 30,000 hours, the diffused flexible body resists the bending needed for tight outlines without exposing the diodes. This neon flex sits in our wider LED Strip Lights range alongside COB and SMD tape and rope options, with compatible drivers available to complete the install.

Frequently Asked
Does it need a driver, and what size?
Yes. This is a 24V DC neon flex, not a mains-direct fitting, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver, usually supplied separately. Size the driver to the total load of your run, allowing 12W for every metre of profile installed.
Can it be cut to length, and where?
Yes. The profile is cuttable every 5cm at the marked cut points only. Measure your run, cut at the nearest mark, and join sections within the same 24V circuit so the load stays within the driver's rating.
Is it suitable for outdoor and wet locations?
Yes. The IP65 rating makes it weatherproof and suitable for exposed outdoor and wet sites, including façade outlines and signage. It also works well in damp interiors such as coves and recesses.
How do I clean and maintain it?
Wipe the diffused face with a soft, slightly damp cloth once it is switched off and cool, avoiding solvents that could mark the profile. The sealed IP65 body keeps moisture out, so an occasional wipe to clear dust or grime is all that is needed.
