Description

This is the larger of the two goose neck wall lanterns in the Goose Neck range, the old farmyard curve, carrying a spun teardrop shade over a clear glass dome. It stands 910mm tall and measures 650mm across. It is carried on a goose neck bracket.

It belongs on a door, a workshop wall, a stable block or a porch. It weighs 17.00KG, so the fixing needs to go into structural timber or masonry rather than into plasterboard. Harte rate it IP44, which covers splashing from any direction, so a covered or partly sheltered position is right; for a fully exposed position look at the IP65 fittings in the range. The same pattern runs from 460mm to 910mm, so you can match a pair across two positions without changing the look.

Glazing is polycarbonate and the lamp is an E27 screw fitting supplied without a bulb, so you choose the output and the colour rather than accepting a sealed unit. The maximum is 100W in total across one lamp; a 7W LED at 2700K is the usual choice. It is made in galvanised steel and aluminium. Harte make, spray and glaze each light to order in County Wexford, so allow two to five weeks, and any RAL colour can go on in place of gloss black if you say so when ordering. An LED panel option is available in place of the lamp holder. Wiring an outdoor fitting needs a qualified electrician.
