How is the old rocker removed?

Lever the existing rocker cover off the switch module using a small flat-blade screwdriver or fingernail at the base of the rocker. The new rocker clips into place without tools—simply align the clips on the back of the rocker with the module frame and press until it clicks.

Can the rocker be removed and refitted?

Yes. The rocker can be removed and re-clipped multiple times without damaging the switch module or the rocker itself, which is useful if you need to change appliance designations or repaint around the switch plate.
