Description

The Knightsbridge GDDISHAB is a replacement grid switch cover marked 'DISHWASHER' in raised lettering on an antique brass finish faceplate. The cover clips onto Knightsbridge's modular grid rocker mechanisms, allowing you to replace a blank rocker or re-label an existing switch without re-wiring the back box. The 33mm height and 16mm width are standard Knightsbridge grid dimensions.

Designed for kitchen installations where appliances like dishwashers, washing machines and waste disposal units are wired to dedicated isolator switches behind worktops or in utility rooms. The marked cover removes ambiguity about which switch controls which appliance, which is particularly useful in rental properties, commercial kitchens and multi-appliance setups where several switches sit side-by-side in a grid plate.

The antique brass finish is a warm, aged metal tone with darker patina in the recesses of the engraved lettering, giving depth and contrast against lighter surroundings. The cover is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel backing plate for rigidity, and the finish is applied as a coating rather than being solid metal. This keeps the weight low at 6.8mm projection from the grid plate once clipped in. The 25-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
