Description

The Ivy is a 9-light chandelier built around a central brushed brass column with nine slim arms radiating outward at staggered angles. Each arm holds an opal glass globe shade in a cluster formation, forming a rounded canopy of light roughly 60cm wide and 40cm tall. The fitting takes 9 x G9 bulbs, sold separately, and the metalwork carries a warm brushed brass finish throughout.

The cluster format works well over round and oval dining tables of 1.2m or larger, where the spread of nine globes distributes light more evenly than a single pendant. It also suits open-plan living rooms and lounges with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, hung 700-800mm above a dining surface or 2.1m clear of the floor in walkway positions. Suspension is from a single brass canopy with an adjustable cable drop, allowing height to be set during installation.

The opal glass globes are uniform in tone and diffuse G9 bulbs into a soft, even glow without visible filaments, which keeps the cluster legible from below rather than glary. The chandelier takes 9 x G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most buyers pair it with warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K and 3-4W each for a soft ambient output. The opal glass diffuses the bulbs evenly, so filament-style versions are not required.
