The Impossible 65cm Oval Pendant Light is a single continuous woven shade shaped as a flattened biconvex form, widest at the equator and tapering symmetrically to a point above and below. Seen from the side, the silhouette reads as an oval lying on its side, which is why we describe it as oval. The 65cm figure is the plan dimension, the width across the widest part, and the fitting measures 25cm in height. It comes with a fixed drop of 220cm maximum, set at manufacture, so please note it cannot be shortened on site. The shade is a woven painted metal mesh, and this pendant light is offered as one continuous body rather than a cluster of separate pieces.

This piece works well over a dining table, a kitchen island or a hallway, and in living spaces where you want a soft, textured glow from above. The open weave lets light pass through the mesh, so it suits rooms where you want gentle illumination as well as a strong shape overhead. Designed by Massimo Mussapi, it fits both modern and more relaxed interiors, and the choice of finishes lets you match it to existing metalwork or contrast it against a plain ceiling.

The frame is metal with a woven painted mesh forming the shade itself, with no glass or separate diffuser. Choose from Black, Burnished, Gold or White finishes across five variants. Two versions are available: an integrated LED at 14W, dimmable, 2700K and 1400 lumens, with no lamp to buy; or an E27 version rated 100W maximum, with lamps not included.
