Description

The Half Moon is a sculptural LED pendant light built from two overlapping circular metal discs in a polished chrome finish, suspended on a 150cm black cable. The front disc sits proud of the rear, with a 9W integrated LED concealed between the two plates that washes light outwards across the inner faces. The 25cm diameter and 38cm overall height keep the fitting compact for a single pendant.

The off-axis disc geometry suits hallways, stairwell drops, bedside positions either side of a headboard, and kitchen islands where a row of two or three pendants creates a rhythm above the worktop. Mounted singly, the pendant works well at eye level beside a console or in an entrance hall. The 150cm cable can be shortened on installation to set the drop height for the room.

Both discs are formed in metal with a mirror-polished chrome finish that reflects ambient room light when the LED is off, so the pendant reads as a pair of bright silver circles by day and a soft glowing halo by night. The integrated 9W LED removes the need for bulb replacement and keeps the profile slim, with no visible lamp holder or cap to interrupt the disc shapes.

Does it come with a bulb?

The Half Moon uses a 9W integrated LED, so no separate bulb is needed and none can be replaced. The LED is rated for tens of thousands of hours of use under normal domestic conditions.

Is the pendant dimmable?

The Specification tab does not list dimmer compatibility for this model. Dimmability of integrated LED fittings depends on the driver inside the pendant, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm suitability.

Can the cable drop be shortened?

Yes. The 150cm cable can be adjusted on installation to set the pendant at the drop height required for the room. Most kitchen islands and dining tables work well with the pendant set 700-800mm above the surface.

What ceiling height does it suit?

At 38cm tall with up to 150cm of cable, the pendant suits standard ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For lower ceilings the cable can be shortened to keep the fitting clear of head height in walkways.
