Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'HOB' in an antique brass finish, designed to clip onto modular grid switch modules. The cover measures 33mm height by 16mm width with a 6.8mm projection from the grid plate, fitting standard Knightsbridge grid rocker mechanisms used in kitchens to control appliance circuits.

Grid switch covers allow individual circuits to be clearly labelled without needing to replace the entire grid plate or switch module. The cover clips over the existing rocker switch, replacing a blank or differently-labelled cover with one that identifies the hob circuit at the point of use. This is particularly useful in kitchen installations where multiple appliances (hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine) are controlled from a single multi-gang grid plate near the door.

The antique brass finish provides a warm, aged metallic tone that pairs with traditional and period kitchen fittings. The 'HOB' designation is engraved into the ABS and steel rocker face, making it readable under most lighting conditions and resistant to wear from repeated switching. The cover carries a 25-year warranty covering material and finish defects.

This rocker cover fits Knightsbridge modular grid switch modules. It clips onto the rocker mechanism of a standard grid switch module, replacing the existing cover. It is not compatible with non-grid single-gang switches or other manufacturers' grid systems.

Can I swap the cover without rewiring?

Yes. The cover clips onto the front of the existing grid rocker mechanism without needing to disconnect any wiring or remove the grid plate from the wall. Simply pull off the old rocker cover and clip the new 'HOB' cover into place.
