Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is marked 'FRIDGE FREEZER' and finished in antique brass. The cover clips onto a standard Knightsbridge grid rocker switch to label the dedicated circuit supplying a fridge/freezer appliance, making it easier to identify which switch controls which appliance during maintenance or when isolating circuits.

Designed for use with Knightsbridge grid switch systems in kitchens and utility rooms, the cover replaces the blank rocker on a grid switch module. The engraved text ensures clear identification without needing separate adhesive labels, and the antique brass finish integrates with other antique brass grid components in the same plate. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide, matching the footprint of standard grid rockers.

The antique brass finish is a satin-buffed brass with darker oxidised tones in the recesses of the engraved text, giving a warmer, aged appearance compared to polished brass. The construction uses ABS plastic with a steel reinforcement layer, providing durability under repeated switching. The 25-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in the finish and mechanism.

This is a replacement rocker cover only. It clips onto an existing Knightsbridge grid rocker switch module — it does not include the switch mechanism itself.

What grid systems is it compatible with?

The cover fits standard Knightsbridge grid rocker switches. It will not fit other manufacturers' grid systems or standard single-gang switches.

Can the cover be removed and replaced?

Yes. The cover clips on and off the rocker mechanism, allowing it to be swapped for a different designation cover (e.g. 'Dishwasher', 'Washing Machine') or replaced if damaged.
