Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker cap engraved with 'FAN BOOST' in antique brass finish, designed to clip onto compatible grid rocker modules. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the switch face, and is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel mounting clip.

The cover is used in bathroom and kitchen installations where an extractor fan has a boost function controlled by a separate switch. Labelling the switch rocker with 'FAN BOOST' removes ambiguity in multi-switch grids, particularly in rental properties, hotels, and commercial washrooms where users are unfamiliar with the room's electrical layout. The antique brass finish pairs with Knightsbridge's antique brass grid plates and other antique brass accessories in the same range.

The rocker cover clips onto the existing rocker switch mechanism without re-wiring or replacing the entire grid module. The steel mounting clip hooks into the back of the rocker body and holds the ABS cover in place under normal use. The antique brass finish is applied over the ABS surface and shows the engraved lettering as darker recessed text against the brushed brass background. The cover carries a 25-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
