Description

The Knightsbridge Grid flex outlet module provides a single 10mm-diameter cable exit point behind an antique brass faceplate, designed to clip into Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames (sold separately). The module suits pendant light cables, appliance flexes, and low-voltage cables up to 10mm outer diameter, routing them cleanly through the wall without cutting or damaging the cable sheath.

Designed for use in kitchens, home offices and entertainment setups where cables need to pass through the wall rather than run along skirting boards or dado rails, the module fits within the Knightsbridge Grid system alongside switches, sockets, USB ports, HDMI and other data modules. The Grid system allows multiple modules to be combined in a single mounting frame, creating a customised control panel or media wall without needing separate back boxes for each function.

The antique brass finish pairs with traditional, classical and warm-toned interiors, providing a weathered brass patina that contrasts with polished brass or chrome. The module body is constructed from ABS plastic and steel, rated IP20 for dry indoor locations only. Installation requires a 35mm minimum back box depth, with the module clipping into the front of the mounting frame after back box installation and wiring are complete. The 25-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in the module body and finish.

What cable diameter does this module accept?

The module accepts cables up to 10mm outer diameter. This suits most pendant light flexes, appliance cables, and low-voltage AV cables. For larger cables (up to 20mm), Knightsbridge produces a separate larger-aperture flex outlet module.

Does this module require a separate mounting frame?

Yes. The module clips into a Knightsbridge Grid mounting frame, which is sold separately and fixed to the back box first. Mounting frames are available in 1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang and larger configurations, allowing multiple Grid modules to be combined in a single faceplate.

Can this be used in bathrooms or outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating limits this module to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens within splashback zones, or any outdoor installation.
