Description

This is an ex-display Gulf pendant light: a 30cm droplet-shaped acrylic shade with a polished silver mirror finish, suspended on a black flex. The unit has visible cosmetic surface cracks on the outer shell, appearing as fine fractures in the silver finish near the lower and side sections of the pendant. The cracks are surface-level only and do not affect the structural integrity of the fitting. Sold as seen at a reduced ex-display price.

The Gulf takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and runs directly from mains power. An A/C LED E27 bulb is recommended for energy efficiency and to keep heat output low inside the acrylic shade. Standard halogen or non-A/C LED bulbs may require a separate driver depending on the circuit. The pendant suits kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, hung either as a single feature or grouped in a cluster of two or three at staggered drop heights.

The acrylic shell is moulded as a single droplet form with a curved lower opening that exposes the bulb partially when lit, casting a directional pool of light downward while the polished silver outer reflects the surrounding room. At 30cm diameter and 14cm tall, the Gulf reads as a compact decorative pendant rather than a large statement fitting. The ceiling rose and flex are black, giving a clean visual break against white or pale ceilings.
