Description

This is an ex-display Funk tall pendant light: a 40cm matt black metal cone with a hammered gold interior, suspended on a black flex from a slim tapered ceiling stem. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately), and the textured gold lining reflects warm light downward into a defined pool below the shade. As an ex-display unit, the matt black exterior shows light surface marks and scuffs from handling. Sold as seen.

The narrow 19cm diameter and tall conical profile suit positions where a directional, downward beam is wanted: above a kitchen island, over one end of a breakfast bar, beside a console in a hallway, or hung in a multiple over a long dining table. The slim silhouette keeps sightlines clear across a room, so the pendant works well in open-plan layouts where a wider shade would visually divide the space.

The shade is pressed metal with a low-sheen matt black finish on the outside and a textured, beaten-effect gold finish on the inside. The contrast between the dark exterior and the warm interior is the defining feature of the design: when the bulb is lit, the gold lining glows and reflects, while the outside reads as a clean black silhouette against the ceiling.
