Description
This E27 GLS LED bulb takes the classic rounded A60 household shape, so it sits in any standard Edison Screw fitting where an old incandescent once went. It draws just 7.8W yet gives out 1055 lumens of 2700K warm white light, replacing a 75W old bulb on output while using a fraction of the energy. The wide 180 degree spread sends light right across the room rather than in a tight cone. In the US this is the everyday A19 shape on an E27 screw base.
Being a general-purpose warm white bulb, it suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and landings, and works equally well in table lamps, pendants, wall fittings and standard ceiling roses. The soft 2700K tone gives a relaxed, homely glow, while the broad 180 degree beam fills open spaces evenly rather than spotlighting one area. With a high Ra90 colour rendering, furnishings, skin tones and decor look natural and true. It is for dry indoor use only and should not be fitted in bathrooms, porches or any damp or outdoor location.
The A60 lamp measures Ø60 by 109 mm and weighs 34g, matching the footprint of a traditional bulb so it fits existing shades and fittings without fuss. Running at 220-240V AC on the E27 cap, it reaches 135 lm/W efficiency and a rated 25,000 hour lifespan. This is a non-dimmable bulb, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. The finish is a clean white diffuser that softens the light without glare. We stock matching warm white caps across the wider E27 range.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, the larger of the two common screw fittings. It threads straight into any standard E27 lampholder used in pendants, table lamps and ceiling fittings.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
At 1055 lumens it replaces a 75W old incandescent bulb on brightness, while the LED itself draws only 7.8W. That gives the same light for far less energy.
Can I use this bulb with a dimmer?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb and should be used on a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or shorten its life.
Is it warm or cool light?
It gives a warm white 2700K tone, the soft, homely glow most people prefer for living rooms and bedrooms. The Ra90 colour rendering keeps colours looking natural under it.
