Description
This E27 GLS LED bulb gives the classic rounded household shape (the A60 form) in a low-energy LED, fitting any standard E27 Edison Screw (ES) lampholder. It draws just 7.3 W yet stands in for a 60 W old incandescent bulb, putting out 806 lumens of 4000K cool white light. The wide 220 degree beam angle throws light broadly rather than in a tight spot, so the output spreads across a room much like the traditional bulb it replaces. In US terms this is the everyday A19 screw-in shape, here in the metric A60 size on an E27 base.
Cool white at 4000K suits kitchens, home offices, utility rooms, garages and workspaces where a crisp, neutral tone helps with tasks and keeps colours looking true. With an 806 lumen output and a 220 degree spread, a single bulb lights a small room, a landing or a hallway, while two or more share the load in a larger living space or kitchen. It is an indoor bulb only, rated IP20, so keep it to dry interior fittings and clear of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor location. The wide beam makes it a good fit for pendants, table lamps and open shades that need even, all-round light.
The bulb measures 60 mm in diameter by 110 mm long and weighs 26 g, matching the footprint of a conventional GLS bulb so it sits neatly in most shades and fittings. It is fully dimmable, working with a compatible LED dimmer to set the level you want, and renders colour at Ra 80. Rated for 25,000 hours with an efficiency of 110 lm/W, it runs on 220 to 240 V AC mains direct from the E27 holder. This bulb sits in our wider E27 range alongside other caps and shapes.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, the larger screw-in base found on many pendants, table lamps and ceiling fittings. Simply screw it into any standard E27 holder. Check your fitting takes E27 rather than the smaller E14.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED draws only 7.3 W but produces 806 lumens, which is comparable to a traditional 60 W incandescent bulb. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the energy. The LED itself never draws the 60 W equivalent figure.
Is this bulb dimmable?
Yes, it is fully dimmable when used with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Pairing it with a trailing-edge LED dimmer usually gives the smoothest result. An older dimmer designed for incandescent bulbs may not perform as well.
Is the light warm or cool?
It is cool white at 4000K, a crisp neutral tone that sits between warm white and daylight. This suits kitchens, offices and task areas where a clean, true-to-life light helps. For a cosier feel choose a warmer 2700K to 3000K bulb instead.
