Description

A pair of Duracell C size rechargeable cells, each rated at 3000mAh on the pack. The codes printed on the blister, HR14 and DC1400, are the standard designations for a C size nickel-metal hydride cell, so these fit anything that takes a C battery. You receive two cells. The point of a rechargeable is that you buy the cell once and pay for electricity afterwards, so a device you feed regularly stops being a running cost, and C size devices tend to be the hungry ones in the house.

C cells are the size you find in torches, portable radios, camping lanterns, door chimes and the larger ride-on and noise-making toys, and they are usually wanted in twos and fours rather than singly. A pack of two suits a single two-cell torch or radio, and if you run a few of those at home it is worth keeping one pack charged and one pack in the device so nothing stops mid-use.
