Description

The Droplet is a small-scale glass pendant light built around a slim tapered white stem that flares into a glossy black chrome trumpet-shaped shade, finished with a clear glass diffuser at the base. An integrated 5W LED at 3000K sits behind the diffuser, casting a focused warm-white downlight rather than spreading ambient light across the room. The shade measures 8.5cm in diameter and 21cm in height, keeping the visual footprint compact.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, bedside positions and stairwells, the Droplet works as task or accent lighting where a directed beam is wanted without bulk overhead. The cable adjusts up to 350cm on installation, so the pendant can be set 600-800mm above a worktop, hung low next to a bed, or dropped through a double-height stairwell. The narrow profile means several Droplets can be clustered above a single island or dining table without crowding the ceiling line.

The two-tone finish pairs a matte white upper section with a high-gloss black chrome shade, giving a strong tonal contrast that reads cleanly against both pale and dark ceilings. Black chrome carries more depth than standard chrome, picking up reflections from surrounding surfaces while keeping the form defined. The clear glass diffuser at the tip lets the LED read as a visible point of light rather than a hidden source, which adds to the sculptural drop-shape silhouette.

Yes. The Droplet uses an integrated 5W LED at 3000K (warm white), so no separate bulb is needed. The LED is built into the fitting and is not user-replaceable.

Can the drop length be adjusted?

The cable can be adjusted up to a maximum of 350cm on installation. This allows the pendant to be set at the right height for kitchen islands, dining tables, bedsides or stairwells. Custom drop lengths can be requested - contact us before ordering if you need a specific length.

Can multiple Droplets be clustered together?

Yes. The Droplet's narrow 8.5cm diameter and slim stem make it well suited to multi-pendant arrangements. Multi-light round and rectangular canopies are available for cluster installations - contact us for canopy options before ordering.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No IP rating is specified for this fitting, so it should be installed only in dry indoor locations and kept outside bathroom zones.
