Description

The Creek Round is a 170mm circular outdoor wall light with a 15W integrated LED, switchable colour temperature, and an IP65 rating against dust and water ingress. The matt black finish frames a frosted diffuser that spreads 1000lm across a 120° beam angle, providing functional illumination for entrance doors, garage sides, patio walls, and pathway positions.

The switchable CCT function offers three colour temperatures — 2700K extra warm, 3300K warm, or 4000K cool white — selected via a wall switch cycling sequence on installation. This allows the same fitting to deliver warmer accent lighting for social outdoor spaces or cooler task lighting for functional areas like rear access gates and service doors. The 100mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall without protruding into circulation space.

The IP65 rating protects the LED and driver against rain, hose spray, and coastal moisture, making the Creek suitable for year-round outdoor installation in the UK climate. The matt black powder-coated aluminium body resists corrosion and pairs with contemporary render, brick, timber cladding, and metal finishes. The frosted diffuser softens the 1000lm output to reduce glare when viewed directly at eye level.

The CCT function is switched by cycling the mains power on and off via the wall switch. Each power cycle advances through the three colour temperatures (2700K, 3300K, 4000K) in sequence. The fitting remembers the last-used setting when powered off for extended periods.

The IP65 rating and powder-coated aluminium body provide resistance to moisture and salt spray, making the fitting suitable for coastal installation. Regular rinsing with fresh water helps maintain the finish in high-salt environments.

Can it be mounted on a horizontal soffit?

Yes. The circular design allows the Creek to be mounted on vertical walls or horizontal soffits. The frosted diffuser prevents glare when the fitting is viewed from below.

What back box or mounting is required?

The Creek mounts directly to a wall surface with fixings through the rear backplate. A standard outdoor junction box or cavity back box behind the fitting accommodates the cable connections and provides strain relief for the mains cable.
