Description
This COB LED strip gives a continuous, dot-free line of light along a flexible reel, with no visible spotting where individual diodes would normally show. It draws 19W per metre and puts out 420 lumens per metre across an RGBW output, pairing full-colour RGB with a dedicated 4000K white channel for either coloured effects or a clean neutral-white glow. Searched for as led strip lights and, in the US, as led tape or light strip, it runs on 24V DC rather than mains, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver, which is supplied separately. Colour rendering is rated Ra90, so the white channel holds tones accurately.
The strip suits cove and ceiling perimeters, under-cabinet runs, shelving, stair undersides and outline lighting around patios, pergolas and eaves. Its IP65 rating means it copes with damp and sheltered outdoor positions as well as kitchens and bathrooms, so the same reel can move between indoor and exposed jobs. Because it is a linear accent rather than ambient room lighting, think of it in terms of the length of run it lights and the wash it throws onto a nearby surface, not a floor area. The 7.1cm cut interval lets you trim a 5m reel to fit a worktop, a tread or a recess, and the RGBW mix means one run can shift between scene colour and working white.
Built on a flexible reel that bends around corners and curved profiles, the strip is cut to length only at the marked points, every 7.1cm. It is rated IP65 for weatherproof use, with a coated finish that resists splashes and moisture. The 24V DC supply must come from a separately specified LED driver sized to the total length of the run. Rated for around 30,000 hours, it offers a long service life with low upkeep. The wider range includes drivers, profiles and connectors to complete an installation.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V DC, not mains voltage, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver, which is supplied separately. Size the driver to the total length of the run so it can handle the full wattage at 19W per metre.
Where can the strip be cut?
The strip can be trimmed to length at the marked cut points, which fall every 7.1cm along the reel. Cut only at those marks so the circuit on each section stays complete. This lets a 5m reel fit a worktop, recess or stair run.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, within reason. The IP65 rating makes it weatherproof and suitable for damp and sheltered outdoor positions such as eaves, patios and pergolas, as well as kitchens and bathrooms indoors. It copes with splashes and moisture but is best kept clear of continuous submersion.
What does RGBW mean here?
RGBW combines full-colour RGB diodes with a separate 4000K white channel. That means one run can produce coloured scene lighting or a clean neutral-white glow for practical use. The white channel is rated Ra90, so it renders colours accurately when used as working light.
