Description
This COB LED strip lays down a continuous, dot-free line of light across a flexible 5 metre reel, drawing up to 14.4W per metre for a bright, even output of 2020 lumens per metre. With the diodes packed along the strip rather than spaced out, there are no visible hotspots, so the run reads as one smooth band of light. The colour is a crisp 6500K daylight tone with a high CRI of Ra90, which keeps colours looking true wherever the strip is used. American buyers will know this format as LED tape or strip lighting, and it cuts to length at the marked interval of every 4.55 cm so a run can be sized to fit.
Coated to IP65, the strip suits damp and sheltered outdoor settings as well as dry indoor ones, making it a flexible choice for under-cabinet and cove runs in a kitchen, shelf and display lighting, outline and accent detailing, or eaves and pergola edges outside. Rather than lighting a room on its own, it delivers a continuous grazing line of light along an edge or recess, so think of its coverage in terms of the length of the run rather than a floor area. The daylight tone and high colour rendering make it well suited to task and worktop zones where accurate colour matters.
Built on a flexible self-adhesive reel, the strip runs on 24V DC and therefore needs a matching 24V LED driver, which is supplied separately and should be sized to the total wattage of the run installed. It is not a mains-direct product and must not be plugged straight into a wall socket. Cut only at the marked 4.55 cm points, then connect and seal each section to maintain the IP65 rating. Rated for around 30,000 hours, the reel measures 5000 mm long and weighs 126 g. Other lengths and tones sit alongside this one in the range.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V DC, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver, which is supplied separately. Size the driver to the total wattage of the length you install, allowing a little headroom above the 14.4W per metre figure.
Can the strip be cut to length?
Yes. It cuts at the marked points every 4.55 cm, so you can trim a run to fit the space. Cut only at those marks, then reconnect and reseal the cut end to keep the IP65 rating intact.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so it is weatherproof and suited to damp and sheltered exposed locations such as eaves, pergolas and patio edges, as well as dry indoor runs. Make sure every cut and joint is properly sealed.
How do I clean the strip?
Wipe the surface gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth once the power is off, then dry it. Avoid solvents and harsh cleaners that could mark the coating, and take care not to disturb the sealed sections so the IP65 protection stays effective.
