The Cancun is a 153mm rectangular outdoor wall light with an integrated 10.5W LED producing 885 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a frosted diffuser panel. The fitting is housed in a dark grey powder-coated aluminium frame with a depth of 73mm, designed to mount directly onto external walls without requiring a back box.

Designed for residential entrances, patio walls, and covered outdoor pathways, the Cancun provides ambient downward and forward light wash rather than focused beam illumination. The IP65 rating protects the internal LED and driver against rain, dust and coastal conditions, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions on external walls. The compact 153mm width suits doorways, garage entries and porch surrounds where a larger fitting would dominate the wall space.

The dark grey finish is powder-coated onto aluminium, giving a matt charcoal tone that pairs with contemporary render, brick and cladding without the reflectivity of gloss black or metallic finishes. The frosted diffuser prevents direct LED glare when viewed from the side, distributing the 885 lumens evenly across the surface rather than creating a hot spot. At 0.7kg the fitting mounts onto brick, block or timber-framed walls using two fixings through the rear mounting plate.

Is the Cancun suitable for fully exposed positions?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects against rain, dust and coastal salt spray. The fitting is designed for direct mounting onto external walls without needing a canopy or overhang, though like all outdoor lighting it will last longer if positioned under eaves where direct water run-off is reduced.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The fitting operates at full 885 lumens output when switched on.

What direction does the light go?

The frosted diffuser panel on the front emits light forward and downward, creating a wash across the wall and ground below rather than a focused beam. There are also three downward-facing apertures on the top surface visible in the image, which add a secondary downlight component.

How is it wired?

The fitting mounts directly onto the external wall and connects to mains 230V wiring behind the mounting plate. A qualified electrician should install outdoor lighting to ensure weatherproof cable glands and correct earthing, particularly for IP65-rated fittings in exposed positions.
