Description

The Bubble Small is a 50cm-wide cluster pendant built from clear blown-glass spheres of varying sizes, gathered around a central brushed gold cylindrical downlight on a slim brass suspension rod. Smaller satellite globes branch off the main sphere on threaded brass connectors, giving the fitting the appearance of soap bubbles caught mid-rise. An integrated 3W 3000K LED inside the gold housing casts warm white light downwards through the glass.

This pendant suits compact dining areas, kitchen islands, bedside positions over a console, and stairwell voids where the cluster reads as a sculptural form from multiple angles. Total height is 77cm with a 150cm cable length, allowing the fitting to be hung at standard dining heights of around 700-800mm above a table or dropped lower in a double-height void. The slim rod and ceiling fixing keep the visual weight in the glass cluster itself rather than the suspension.

The clear glass globes are blown rather than moulded, so light passes through without obvious diffusion, picking up reflections and refractions across the cluster as you move around the room. Brass connectors link each satellite globe to the main body, and the downlight housing is finished in a satin brushed gold that complements the warm tone of the LED. At 50cm in diameter, the small version of the Bubble works in rooms where a wider 80cm or 100cm cluster would feel oversized.

Yes. The Bubble Small has an integrated 3W LED at 3000K (warm white), built into the brushed gold downlight housing. There is no separate bulb to fit or replace.

Is the LED dimmable?

The integrated LED runs at 3W. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module — please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm suitability for the driver supplied.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting has an overall height of 77cm with a 150cm cable length, so the drop is adjustable on installation. It works in rooms with ceiling heights from around 2.4m up to double-height voids and stairwells.

How is the glass cleaned?

Wipe each globe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints, use a barely-damp cloth with a small amount of glass cleaner applied to the cloth (not sprayed directly onto the fitting). Avoid abrasive pads.
