Description

The Bubble is a 30cm single pendant light built around a clear blown-glass orb suspended from a brushed gold metal rod. The rod passes through the top of the sphere and terminates in a brushed gold cylindrical LED disc held at the centre of the glass, casting an integrated 3W 3000K warm white light downwards through the open base of the orb.

The fitting suits kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallways and stairwell drops where a compact single pendant gives directed task light without bulk overhead. The 150cm cable run allows the rod to be set at the height required for a 2.4-3m ceiling, with the orb hanging clear of head height above a worktop or table. The transparent glass keeps the visual footprint light, so the pendant works equally well as a single fitting or grouped in a row of three or more above a longer island.

The orb is hand-blown clear glass with a smooth surface and an open underside, leaving the LED disc visible inside the sphere as a design feature rather than concealing it behind a diffuser. The brushed gold finish on the rod and LED housing has a low-sheen warmth that pairs comfortably with timber worktops, marble surfaces and warm neutral interiors. Total drop including the 30cm orb and rod gives a compact 60cm hanging profile from the ceiling rose.

Yes. The Bubble has an integrated 3W LED rated at 3000K (warm white), so no separate bulb is needed. The LED is built into the brushed gold disc inside the glass orb.

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model used with the integrated LED driver. Please contact us before pairing with a dimmer switch to confirm.

How is it hung over a kitchen island?

The 150cm cable allows the rod to be set at installation height for ceilings of 2.4-3m. As a guide, the base of the orb typically sits 700-800mm above the worktop. For a longer island, two or three Bubble pendants can be installed in a row at 600-700mm spacing.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The combined 60cm pendant drop (30cm orb plus rod) suits standard 2.4m ceilings and above. The cable can be shortened on installation for lower ceilings, or lengthened in stairwells where a longer drop is needed.
