Description

The Beaumont is a 600mm diameter glass rod chandelier with an antique brass iron frame supporting radiating tiers of clear crystal glass rods arranged in concentric circles. Four E27 bulb fittings sit within the structure, casting light through the vertical glass rods which act as individual prisms, fragmenting and diffusing the light across the ceiling and surrounding surfaces.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Beaumont combines Art Deco geometry with traditional chandelier presence. The adjustable drop ranges from 1400mm to 2200mm, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or lowered further in double-height spaces. The antique brass finish on the iron frame carries a darker, aged patina rather than the brighter tone of polished brass, pairing well with period and heritage interiors.

Each glass rod is hand-cut and positioned to overlap slightly with its neighbour, creating a layered diffusion effect when lit. The 12.9kg weight requires secure ceiling fixings and the three-point suspension cable system distributes load evenly across the canopy. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only — not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.

What bulbs does it take?

The Beaumont requires four E27 bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to achieve ambient glow without overpowering the glass rod diffusion effect.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The suspension cables allow the chandelier to hang between 1400mm and 2200mm from the ceiling. Adjustment is made during installation by shortening or lengthening the cables within the canopy before fixing the cover plate.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Each glass rod can be wiped individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or allowing water to pool around the bulb holders.

What ceiling fixings are required?

The 12.9kg weight requires secure ceiling fixings into a joist or concrete ceiling using appropriate wall plugs and screws rated for the load. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician — the fitting is not suitable for plasterboard-only fixings without additional support.
