Description

The Bano is a 50cm square crystal chandelier built on a two-tier French gold frame with cascading strands of precision-cut crystal buttons suspended from both tiers. An integrated 47W LED system inside the upper frame delivers 5,000 lumens at 4000K through the crystal strands, which diffuse and refract the light into layered optical patterns across the room below. The drop is adjustable between 530mm and 2,030mm on installation, using aircraft cable concealed within the suspension wires.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Bano works best centred over a dining table or positioned as a central feature in a double-height space. The 500mm square footprint suits rooms from 4m x 4m upwards. The dual-tier structure creates visual depth — the upper tier sits closer to the ceiling rose, the lower tier hangs approximately 200mm below it, giving the chandelier a cascading profile when viewed from the side. The warm French gold finish on the metal framework contrasts with the cool white 4000K LED output, balancing decorative warmth with functional task lighting.

Each crystal strand is symmetrically positioned on the grid to maintain even light distribution across the fixture. The crystal buttons are faceted to catch and refract light, so the chandelier produces sparkle and prismatic colour when lit. The 7.45kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or structural support — a standard plasterboard ceiling rose will not hold this fitting safely.
