Description

The Ambala Spot is a single-head surface-mounted spotlight in matt black, with a slim cylindrical head that swivels on a compact square backplate. Its integrated LED puts out 500 lumens from 5.5W, and the colour temperature is selectable between 2300K, 3000K and neutral white 4000K straight from the fitting, so the tone can be set to match the mood of a room.

It works well in a living room or bedroom, giving directed light for reading, artwork or a favourite corner. The adjustable head lets the beam be aimed where it is needed, while a built-in switch dimmer steps the brightness through three levels.

Built from metal with a matt black finish, it measures 17cm wide, 17.5cm high and 13cm deep. The FLEXconnect ready function allows either a fixed connection or a plug cable, with a CRI of Ra 80 for natural colour rendering. It carries an IP20 rating for use in dry indoor spaces.

It is a surface-mounted fitting that can be fixed to a wall or ceiling, with an adjustable head to direct the beam.

Can the brightness and light colour be changed?

Yes. A built-in switch dimmer adjusts brightness in three stages, and the colour temperature can be set between 2300K, 3000K and 4000K on the fitting itself.

Is it suitable for a bathroom or outdoor use?

No. With an IP20 rating it is intended for dry indoor spaces such as living rooms and bedrooms.

Does the LED need replacing?

The LED is integrated at 5.5W and 500 lumens, so there is no separate bulb to replace. Wipe the metal body with a soft, dry cloth.
