Description

This is the teardrop lantern head from Harte's replacement lantern heads, the head on its own, to go on a post or column you already have. It stands 210mm tall.

It belongs on an existing post or column. Harte rate it IP44, which covers splashing from any direction, so a covered or partly sheltered position is right; for a fully exposed position look at the IP65 fittings in the range. The same pattern runs from 210mm to 1.12m, so you can match a pair across two positions without changing the look.

Glazing is clear glass and the lamp is an E27 screw fitting supplied without a bulb, so you choose the output and the colour rather than accepting a sealed unit. It is made in aluminium. Harte make, spray and glaze each light to order in County Wexford, so allow two to five weeks, and any RAL colour can go on in place of gloss black if you say so when ordering. Wiring an outdoor fitting needs a qualified electrician.
