Description

Decoded as MODV2 LED 19W-WW, this is a 19W mains-voltage LED light engine putting out 1900 lm of warm white light at 3000K. It runs directly from a 220-240V AC supply with the driver already built in, so no separate power supply is required. The round Ø165 mm body sits 30 mm deep and gives a soft, even spread suited to general ambient lighting.

It works as a drop-in replacement for an ageing 2D or CFL module, retrofitting into bulkheads, round ceiling fittings and downlight bodies to bring an old fitting up to current LED efficiency without changing the whole luminaire. We also stock matching replacement LED modules in other wattages and tones, plus LED bulbs and other light sources across the range.

Does this module need a separate driver?

No. The driver is integrated, so the module wires straight to a 220-240V AC mains supply with no external power supply needed.

What can I use it for?

It is a retrofit light engine that replaces a 2D or CFL module inside bulkheads, round ceiling fittings and downlight bodies. The Ø165 mm format suits those circular housings.

Can the modules be daisy-chained?

Each module is wired to the mains within its host fitting rather than linked module to module. Wire each one to its own 220-240V AC feed.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

It is intended for indoor fittings unless installed within a luminaire that provides its own weatherproof IP rating. Check the host fitting's rating before any damp or exposed location.
