Twin earth terminals provide two separate earth connection points instead of one. They're required in high-integrity earthing setups where a supplementary earth connection runs alongside the standard ring-main earth, common in medical facilities, laboratories and some commercial installations. For standard domestic wiring, one earth terminal is sufficient.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. The screwless cover plate adds 4.3mm of projection from the wall once fitted.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
