Description
The Knightsbridge CS9919AB is a 13A 1-gang single-pole switched socket with dual USB charging ports (one USB-A, one USB-C) supporting fast-charge protocols including PD and QC. The socket delivers up to 18W per port independently or 20W (5V DC, 4A) when both ports are used simultaneously. The antique brass faceplate with black insert fits standard 35mm minimum back box depth.
Designed for kitchens, offices, hotels and residential installation where mains power and device charging are needed at a single point, the socket combines a traditional 13A outlet with modern USB connectivity. The single-pole switching isolates the live line when the socket is switched off, and the USB ports remain independently powered for charging even when the mains outlet is switched off. The 89mm square faceplate uses a rounded edge profile that sits flush to the wall once fitted.
The antique brass finish provides a warm, aged metallic tone that pairs well with traditional, heritage and transitional interiors. The black insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and defines the outlet apertures. Built-in protections against overload, overheating and excessive current draw are included, and the ErP-ready design limits standby energy consumption to regulatory thresholds. The Over Voltage Category III rating makes the socket suitable for both domestic and commercial installation.

Frequently Asked
What back box depth is required?
A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. The faceplate adds 10.5mm of projection from the wall once fitted. A 10mm spacer is provided with the socket for fitting flexibility.
What's the USB fast-charge output?
Each USB port delivers up to 18W independently. When both ports are used simultaneously, the combined output is 20W at 5V DC (4A shared). The ports support PD (Power Delivery) and QC (Quick Charge) fast-charge protocols.
Do the USB ports work when the mains socket is switched off?
Yes. The USB ports remain powered for charging even when the single-pole switch isolates the 13A mains outlet. This allows devices to charge overnight without leaving the mains outlet live.
What other finishes are available in this range?
Knightsbridge produces this 1-gang socket with dual USB in a range of finishes including polished chrome, brushed chrome, polished brass, matt black and white. Use the search function or filters to find other variants in stock at Niori.
