Description

The Knightsbridge 10A single circuit track is a 1m aluminium and copper rail finished in white, designed to power and mount adjustable track spotlight heads. The track runs on 230V mains at 10A capacity, supporting a combined load of up to 2,300W across all fitted heads. It ships with both live and dead end accessories, allowing the track to be installed as a standalone 1m run or extended by joining multiple sections.

Suited to retail spaces, kitchen task lighting, gallery walls and home offices where directional accent or task light is needed, the track mounts to ceilings or walls using the integrated fixing channels on the rear. The 35mm width and 17mm projection keep the profile compact once installed. Compatible track heads (sold separately) clip into the internal copper rail and can be repositioned along the length without tools, making it simple to adjust lighting as room layouts change.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish pairs with white or light-toned ceilings to minimise visual contrast, and the IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor environments. The Class I earthing requirement means the track must be connected to a protective earth conductor during installation. Track sections can be cut to length on site if a run shorter than 1m is needed, though this should be done by a qualified electrician to maintain safety and warranty.

What track heads are compatible with this track?

This is a single circuit track using Knightsbridge's standard rail profile. Compatible track heads include Knightsbridge's own range of adjustable spotlights rated for single circuit track use. Check the product page of any track head to confirm compatibility before purchasing.

Can multiple 1m sections be joined together?

Yes. Track sections can be joined end-to-end using straight connectors (sold separately) to create longer continuous runs. The combined load across all sections must not exceed 10A (2,300W) on a single circuit.

What's included with the track?

The 1m track section ships with a live end accessory (for powered connection to mains) and a dead end cap (to seal the unpowered end). Track heads, connectors for joining sections, and mounting hardware are sold separately.

Can the track be cut to a shorter length?

Yes, the aluminium track can be cut to length on site using a fine-tooth saw. This should only be done by a qualified electrician, and any cut edges must be deburred to avoid damage to the internal copper rail or risk of short circuit.
