Description

USB Charger 6 Port is a USB charger in white. A white moulded block with a gently domed top, the front face cut back at an angle and carrying a row of seven USB sockets along it. The sockets are evenly spaced and recessed, each a plain rectangular slot in the moulding. The casing is a smooth white plastic with soft edges and a faint crease running diagonally across the top face. There is nothing on it but a small printed label above the sockets. It is a low box meant to sit on a desk or a shelf and be reached easily. The housing is cooled by an aluminium plate, and it protects against overload and sets the current to suit whatever is plugged into each port.

It sits on a desk or a worktop and charges several things at once from one socket. It is a part rather than a finished fitting, so it is bought alongside whatever it is going to carry or connect to rather than on its own. That is the point of buying the pieces separately: the shade, the flex and the holder are each chosen on their own, and a run can be made up to a length and a drop that no finished pendant would give you.

It is class II, double insulated, so it needs no earth, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.
