Description

The SARA is a recessed LED wallwasher with switchable wattage (30W/35W/40W) and tri-CCT selection (3000K/4000K/5000K), housed in a die-cast aluminium body with a white powder-coated finish. The fitting tilts up to 60 degrees within the ceiling void, allowing the light to be directed onto vertical surfaces for accent lighting or onto adjacent walls to create wash effects in commercial, retail and hospitality interiors.

Designed for ceiling voids with a minimum 145mm clearance, the wallwasher requires a 225mm x 127mm rectangular cut-out and sits flush with the ceiling plane once installed. The wattage and colour temperature are selected via switches on the driver before power-on, meaning a single fitting can deliver 3795-5235 lumens depending on configuration. The 0-10V dimming protocol allows integration with commercial lighting control systems, though compatibility with specific dimmers should be confirmed before installation.

The frosted glass diffuser spreads an 80-degree beam angle across the wall surface, softening shadows and providing even coverage without visible hotspots. The wattage and CCT are set using switches on the driver before the fitting is powered on. The driver supports three wattage settings (30W, 35W, 40W) and three colour temperatures (3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, 5000K cool white). Once set, the configuration remains fixed until manually changed.

What ceiling void depth is required?

A minimum 145mm void clearance is needed to accommodate the fitting depth and allow the 60-degree tilt function. The rectangular cut-out required is 225mm x 127mm.

Is the SARA compatible with dimmer switches?

The fitting supports 0-10V dimming protocol, which is common in commercial lighting control systems. Compatibility with specific dimmer models should be confirmed before installation — not all 0-10V dimmers behave identically with LED drivers.

Can this be used for emergency lighting?
