Description

The QTX UV Bubble Fluid is a 5-litre water-based solution formulated to produce bubbles that glow under UV lighting. The fluid works with all standard bubble machines including the QTX B2, B1, and B100, as well as mini party bubble machines and professional fog-and-bubble hybrid units. The formula contains UV-reactive compounds that activate under blacklight, turning ordinary bubbles into glowing spheres visible across a dark room.

Designed for events, clubs, stage performances and parties where UV lighting is in use, the fluid creates a visual effect that complements smoke machines, laser shows and architectural UV wash lighting. The 5-litre container provides extended runtime for professional installations and larger events where bubble machines may run continuously for several hours. The water-based composition leaves minimal residue on hard floors when the bubbles burst, though some surfaces may benefit from a light wipe-down after heavy use.

The fluid conforms to REACH EC directive 91/155/EC and is non-toxic, but contains sodium laureth sulfate so direct skin contact should be avoided. The solution remains stable when stored sealed in the original container, and the translucent amber colour in daylight indicates the presence of the UV-reactive additives. Each 5-litre container has a moulded carry handle and screw-cap for controlled pouring into bubble machine reservoirs.

Frequently Asked

What bubble machines is this compatible with?

The QTX UV Bubble Fluid works with all bubble machines that accept water-based bubble solutions, including QTX's own B2, B1, B100, mini party models, and professional-grade machines from other manufacturers. Check your machine's manual to confirm it accepts water-based fluids rather than oil-based solutions.

Does it glow without UV lighting?

No. The bubbles appear as standard translucent bubbles under normal lighting. The UV-reactive compounds only produce the glowing effect when illuminated by UV blacklight or blacklight-blue lamps.

How long does 5 litres last?

Runtime depends on the bubble machine's output rate. A typical small-to-medium party bubble machine consumes approximately 200-300ml per hour of continuous use, so a 5-litre container provides 15-20 hours of operation. Professional high-output machines will consume more.

Is it safe for indoor use?

Yes, the fluid is water-based, non-toxic and REACH-compliant. However, it contains sodium laureth sulfate, so avoid direct skin contact and rinse with water if contact occurs. Ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed spaces and wipe floors after use if they become slippery from burst bubbles.
