Description

The QTX Tropical Fragrance is a 20ml concentrated scent additive designed to be mixed into fog, haze or smoke machine fluid before use. One 20ml bottle scents up to 5 litres of fluid, releasing a tropical fruit aroma when vaporised through the machine. The fragrance is supplied in an amber glass bottle with a white tamper-evident cap and is compatible with water-based fog and haze fluids across all machine brands.

Designed for clubs, mobile DJs, stage productions and events where the standard odour of fog fluid is undesirable, the fragrance additive transforms the neutral chemical smell of vaporised glycol into a tropical fruit scent. The 20ml bottle is added to a 5L container of fog or haze fluid, shaken to disperse, and then used as normal in any compatible machine. The scent disperses with the fog cloud and dissipates as the fog clears.

The QTX fragrance range includes five scent options sold separately: Coconut, Mint, Vanilla, Tropical and Strawberry. Each fragrance uses the same 20ml-to-5L dilution ratio and the same amber glass bottle format. The tropical variant provides a mixed fruit aroma rather than a single-fruit scent, making it a general-purpose option for summer-themed events, beach parties and tropical-themed stage sets.

How is the fragrance mixed into the fluid?

Add the full 20ml bottle to a 5L container of fog, haze or smoke fluid. Shake the container thoroughly to disperse the fragrance, then use the fluid as normal in your machine. The fragrance is released when the fluid is vaporised.

Is it compatible with all fog machine brands?

Yes. The fragrance is designed to work with water-based fog and haze fluids used in machines from any manufacturer. It does not affect the fluid's vaporisation properties or leave residue in the machine.

Does it change the density or output of the fog?

No. The fragrance additive affects only the scent, not the fog density, hang time, output rate or vaporisation temperature. The machine operates exactly as it would with unfragranced fluid.

How strong is the tropical scent?

The scent strength depends on the volume of fog output and room ventilation. In a closed room with continuous fog output the scent becomes noticeable within a few minutes. In well-ventilated spaces or outdoor events the scent is lighter and disperses more quickly.
