Description

The QTX straight mounting hook is a galvanised steel hook designed for attaching stage lights, moving heads and projectors to horizontal poles, truss bars and scaffolding. The hook accommodates poles up to 50mm in diameter and carries a maximum load of 25kg, covering most compact PAR cans, LED wash lights and small projectors in mobile DJ and theatre rigs.

The straight profile means the hook sits flush against the pole once tightened, rather than angling the fixture away from the bar. This works in T-bar stands, overhead truss sections and pole-mounted setups where space between adjacent fixtures matters. The wing-nut at the top tightens the hook onto the pole without tools, while the lower wing-nut secures the fixture's mounting bracket to the hook's threaded shaft.

The galvanised finish provides corrosion resistance in storage and use, and the black coating gives a low-visibility appearance against dark stage environments. The hook's load rating assumes the fixture is centred on the hook and the pole is horizontal; angled mounting or uneven weight distribution reduces effective capacity.
